Last Friday on September 30th we celebrated two little occasions in our school – the International Times Table Day and Boy’s Day! For the first mentioned occasion our teachers and pupils prepared a contest, on which students from our friendly neighbor high school could win a title of the “Times Table Master”. All they had to do, was to pick three cards with multiplication problems to solve. If in presence of the independent jury (including our great minded pupils) they answered correctly – the title was given. Fair and square. Some could say, that additional math to solve between classes wouldn’t be very popular among high school students, to say the least. However, we were very pleasantly surprised seeing queues lining up in front of our tables.
After handing out the “Times Table Master” titles all the boy side of SAIL was invited to one classroom, where ladies prepared fun activities ended up with some sweet treats.
