Just a quick recap of how our school spent last Monday which just so happened to be Halloween! It’s not every day that a group of ghosts, spirits, zombies and witches walk in through the school door instead of children. The spooky atmosphere however didn’t scare away the fun. Apart from all the Halloween music and food, we haunted the school corridors with an egg and eyeball race and our courage was tested when reaching into a bowl of gunk blindfolded. On top of that, the little critters and the school staff participated in a marvellous pumpkin carving competition, wrapped up with awarding prizes for the scariest pumpkins and spookiest costumes. After cleaning up all the organised mess, fortunately things returned to normal this morning keeping up the creative mood in the company of smiling children instead of spooky spirits.
