Dear parents and students,
Here is the organization for Friday:
English: Today English will look a little different as we will create our very own 3D animal model. You can choose any animal from our last books 'King Pip and the Dark Wood' or 'Panther and Frog' to create your very own version of the animal. You can use any items/resources you can find at home. For example. plastic bottles (ask a grown up for help if you would like to cut it), paper tube, paper plate, tissue paper, play dough, cardboard. Be as creative as you can!
Maths: Today we are going to look at some 2D shapes and create a repeating pattern. Complete page 44 of Y1 WB3. Extra challenge: can you create your own repeating pattern? You can use paint/crayons/felt tips.
Science: We will recap our animals unit and start our plants unit. We will look at features of small plants during our longer group lesson at 10am. Then, you will complete 'Labeling Parts of a Plant' worksheet.
Have a lovely weekend!
Best regards,
Miss Aneta Kowalska
