Here is the organization for Friday:

English: Today we are going to practise spelling some words linked to this unit. Complete PCM 1.9.3 using the look-cover-write-check method. Extra challenge: Can you put some of those words into a sentence?

Maths: Today we are going to double and halve numbers to 10. Complete page 36 of Y1 WB3. Extra challenge: Complete 'Doubling and halving greater depth' worksheet.

Science: Today we are going to explore how animals grow. Choose one animal to research. You may wish to choose an animal from the poster you created in the previous lesson. Then, complete 'The life cycle of an animal' worksheet. You may use the internet to help you with research (ask an adult to help you). Extra challenge: Can you label your pictures?

I will do an introduction for all activities during our longer lesson at 10am.

I would like to remind all parents about signing up for parent-teacher meeting next week (Monday 01/06/2020 and Wednesday 03/06/2020). This will give us a chance to talk about your child's progress and how we can move their learning forward.

Have a lovely weekend!
