Dear parents and students,
Here is the organization for Thursday:
Phonics: We will recap the 'ay' sound. Have a go at reading some words with the 'ay' sound. Then, complete 'Find and Write the 'ay' words' worksheet. Extra challenge: Can you write a sentence with one of the words with the 'ay' sound?
English: Today we are going to revise verbs. Using PCM 1.9.7 complete the sentences using the words from the word bank. Extra challenge: Can you think of your own verbs?
Maths: Today we are going to create a pictogram to show our favourite animals. We will use smiley faces to represent the number of children. We will complete 'Pictogram Data' worksheet together in the morning group session. Please have it ready. Then, you will go off and complete 'Favourite Animals in my Class Pictogram' worksheet using the 'Smiley Faces' for the number of children. Extra challenge: Have a go at interpreting an existing pictogram using 'Interpreting Existing Pictograms' worksheet.
Best regards,
Miss Aneta Kowalska
