Phonics: Recapping the split digraph 'a-e'. Have a go at reading some words with the 'a-e' sound. Then, complete 'a-e phoneme spotter postcard' worksheet. Extra challenge: Can you write your own postcard with as many a-e words as possible?
English: Today we will look at a new book 'I Like to Play'. This will be allocated to you on the activelearn website. Read the book all the way to the end. Then, complete PCM 1.10.1. by drawing a picture of yourself doing your favourite activity. Finish the sentence using the words from the word bank to help you. Extra challenge: Draw and write about one more activity you enjoy doing.
Maths: Today we are going to create a block graph to show the height of items in our house. Collect 5-6 small items which you can measure with a centimeter ruler. Then, complete 'Block Graph Data' worksheet and 'Block Graph' worksheet. Extra challenge: Complete 'Food Graph' worksheet. How many of these food items can you find in your house?
